A Success!

Well after cleaning the house AGAIN top to bottom, and having everything “Just right” (How I love it –but it never seems to stay that way!) –I am kind of obsessive that way! –my Pampered Chef Party WAS held, and it was a success!  Never mind that beautiful tablecloth placed “just so” was covered up by her table mat, and the lovely centerpiece lifted and placed on the counter top, and that rug I washed just for the party, it was shoved aside and out of sight anyway!  All of that pretty much happened before any of my guests arrived!  Oh well, at least my consultant saw it!

At any rate the party was a shining success.  I had between fifteen and twenty guests (some daughters of mothers who came), my kitchen was FULL, the food was delicious, and it was a success for my consultant as well, I believe.  We ate Pork Tenderloin and Mini Chocolate Tiramisu Cakes –Yum for both!

Postponed!

Well, after fastidiously cleaning my house –you know, the deep clean type –my Pampered Chef Party was postponed!  Why?  Torrential rains, flooding, and possible tornadoes in York County on September 30!  I was a little disappointed, because I was really excited about having everyone over, but at least we can still have the party next Thursday at the same time.  And I am sad for those who would have come (Some did, too…literally showed up at my door while Dustin and I ate dinner!), but because of the rescheduling, cannot.  But otherwise, it is not a problem except I have to clean my house again!  What a shame!  How come houses can’t just stay clean for a while!?!

The good news is that if you wanted to order anything and did not get the chance, you now have until next Thursday to place your order under my name as the host.  Here is the link.  And very many thanks to all of you who have already made purchases!  I did not expect so much participation!

Oh, and yes, we did survive the torrential downpour…in fact it wasn’t too terribly bad!  And today it is a beautiful, sunny, cool day here in Countryville, PA!
